Sit or Start for Week 14
December 04, 2025 (Updated Every Thursday)
Risks...
Joe Burrow vs Bills
- The Bills rank #1 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. Analyzing various factors very carefully, we expect him to post nice fantasy stats this week. Making his return from a nine-game absence, Burrow shook off rust as the game went on and put together a strong fantasy performance overall highlighted by 14- and 29-yard touchdown passes to Tanner Hudson and Andrei Iosivas, respectively. Burrow spread the ball around to nine different pass catchers overall, with Ja'Marr Chase unsurprisingly garnering the majority of his attention in the form of 14 targets in the absence of Tee Higgins (concussion). Burrow helped lead the Bengals to 20 second-half points and also benefited from a standout performance by his team's oft-maligned defense, infusing some badly needed momentum ahead of a Week 14 road showdown against Josh Allen and the Bills on Sunday, Dec. 7.
Jayden Daniels vs Vikings
- The Vikings rank #5 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. He is currently listed as Questionable on the injury report, and may wind up being a dreaded GTD (Game Time Decision). Per Adam Schefter of ESPN, while it remains unclear if Daniels -- who dislocated his non-throwing elbow in Week 9 -- will be available to face Minnesota, the QB has said that, if he's healthy, he would like to play. For now, Marcus Mariota will continue to handle the Commanders' starting signal-caller duties.
Sam Darnold vs Falcons
- He is currently listed as Questionable on the injury report, and may wind up being a dreaded GTD (Game Time Decision). Darnold was in the blue medical tent on the sideline a couple times against Minnesota, but he didn't miss any offensive snaps prior to giving way to Drew Lock for the final drive of the 26-0 win. Darnold might be listed on the injury report this week, but it sounds like it would be a surprise to see him have an injury designation ahead of next Sunday's game against Atlanta.
Justin Herbert vs Eagles
- He is currently listed as Questionable on the injury report, and may wind up being a dreaded GTD (Game Time Decision). After Herbert injured his left, non-throwing hand during Sunday's win against the Raiders, he wore a glove with a significant amount of padding, but he still completed 15 of 20 passes for 151 yards, two touchdowns and one interception while recording three carries for eight yards. Coach Jim Harbaugh revealed afterward that Herbert sustained a broken bone in that hand, and Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported its exact nature as a metacarpal fracture on Monday morning. Rapoport also noted that the Chargers intend to have Herbert available for Week 14 action, but how he fares on the practice field Thursday through Saturday ultimately will determine whether it's him or backup Trey Lance under center next Monday.
PATRICK MAHOMES vs Texans
- The Texans rank #4 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. He should be a NO BRAIN start this week and every week unless he is on a bye or injured. It was a vintage performance from Mahomes, who hit Rashee Rice for a pair of TDs while also finding Travis Kelce and Hollywood Brown for scores, but it wasn't quite enough to pull off a win in Dallas. It's the second four-TD performance of the season for Mahomes, and it came in tough circumstances as both his starting tackles, Jawaan Taylor (elbow) and Josh Simmons (wrist), left the game and didn't return. At 6-6, Kansas City's playoff hopes are fading fast, and Mahomes will face a daunting matchup Week 14 to try and keep them alive against the Texans' elite defense.
Shedeur Sanders vs Titans
- Sanders wasn't terrible in this one but he wasn't great, either. He should continue to get an extended look as the 3-9 Browns look to be headed nowhere. However, we just haven't seen anything thus far to indicate he's the future of the franchise. He's still a hold in dynasty leagues but it's getting weaker by the day.
TYROD TAYLOR vs Dolphins
- The two touchdowns were fine, but the passing yardage total was so-so again. He continues to be worthy of low-end QB2 fantasy consideration and nothing more. The Jets host the Miami Dolphins in Week 14.
Cam Ward vs Browns
- The Browns rank #3 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. His completion percentage looks just fine until you do the math and realize that's good for just 3.7 yards per attempt. Amazingly, Ward has just seven touchdown passes in 12 NFL starts. While he does have just six interceptions, he just hasn't been able to do anything remotely dynamic. Much of the blame falls on the franchise as they are simply void of talent. However, Ward may need to do something over the next few weeks to make certain the team that looks like it may well again have the top overall draft pick sticks by his side.
Rewards...
Josh Allen vs Bengals
- The Bengals rank #30 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. He should be a NO BRAIN start this week and every week unless he is on a bye or injured. Allen was a late addition to the Bills' injury report despite being a full participant in every practice leading up to Sunday's bout with Pittsburgh. The star quarterback showed no limitations from the minor elbow injury, using both his arm and legs to hit pay dirt and get Buffalo back in the win column. Sunday marked the 49th time that the 29-year-old has both thrown and ran for a touchdown in the same game. Allen's fantasy managers are hoping that dual-threat quarterback can notch No. 50 in a soft matchup against the Bengals next Sunday.
JACOBY BRISSETT vs Rams
- During Murray's current seven-game absence as he tends to a mid-foot sprain, Brissett has eclipsed 300 yards passing four times and tossed exactly two touchdowns on six occasions. Overall, Brissett has completed 67.8 percent of his passes (204 of 301) for 2,188 yards with a 13:4 TD:INT while adding 26 carries for 114 yards and another score during that span. In Week 14, he'll be taking on a Rams defense that has surrendered the seventh-fewest yards per attempt (6.5) to opposing quarterbacks this season, so the sledding may be a bit tougher for Brissett this time around.
J.J. McCarthy vs Commanders
- The Commanders rank #31 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. He is currently listed as Questionable on the injury report, and may wind up being a dreaded GTD (Game Time Decision). If that occurs, McCarthy will resume starting duties Week 14 against the Commanders after sitting out this past Sunday's loss at Seattle, when undrafted rookie Max Brosmer got the nod and stumbled through a 26-0 shutout loss. McCarthy didn't fair much better in his four appearances prior to sitting out Week 13, completing 62 of 118 passes (52.5 percent) for 628 yards, four touchdowns and seven interceptions and taking 16 carries for 70 yards and one TD during that span.
DAK PRESCOTT vs Lions
- The veteran quarterback got picked off by Jaylen Watson on his second pass attempt of the afternoon, but from that point on Prescott was in firm control. Prescott capped the Cowboys' next drive with a 15-yard TD to CeeDee Lamb, then put his team in the lead for good early in the fourth quarter with a three-yard score to Javonte Williams. Prescott has thrown multiple TDs in three straight games as Dallas keeps its playoff hopes alive, posting an 8:2 TD:INT over that stretch, but he'll likely need to be sharp again Week 14 in another potential barn burner against Detroit.
Tyler Shough vs Buccaneers
- The Buccaneers rank #29 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. Shough's numbers don't look bad but you also need to take them with a grain of salt. Much of his damage came as the Saints were attempting to put together a furious comeback. Shough has been fine since taking over and has shown a few bright spots here and there. However, it really looks like New Orleans is headed for a top-5 pick in the upcoming NFL Draft and it would be shocking to see them stick with Shough long-term.
Risks...
AARON JONES SR. vs Commanders
- He is currently listed as Questionable on the injury report, and may wind up being a dreaded GTD (Game Time Decision). Fantasy players can monitor Jones' practice participation this week to see if he will have a chance to play in Week 14. He will likely share playing time with Jordan Mason if he is cleared to play and can be at least a flex option in fantasy leagues.
ALVIN KAMARA vs Buccaneers
- He is currently listed as Questionable on the injury report, and may wind up being a dreaded GTD (Game Time Decision). Kamara predictably didn't practice this week after suffering an MCL sprain during last week's loss to Atlanta. Rookie Devin Neal (ankle) is expected to fill in as the lead back this Sunday, and perhaps beyond, though Saints head coach Kellen Moore said Friday that Kamara won't be placed on injured reserve, per Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football.
Bam Knight vs Rams
- The Rams rank #4 in our Run Defense Power Rankings. Knight was the clear lead back with Emari Demercado (ankle) sidelined, and the journeyman put together a season-high yardage total while logging double-digit carries for the second straight game and fifth time in the last seven contests overall. Knight also averaged a season-high 5.6 yards per carry, and he recorded the first receiving touchdown of his career on a 15-yard grab during a broken play late in the third quarter. Despite the encouraging performance, Knight's role could be diminished significantly in a Week 14 home matchup against the Rams if Trey Benson (knee) returns from injured reserve.
Kyle Monangai vs Packers
- Monangai surprisingly returned to a starter-level workload despite D'Andre Swift being active and gaining 125 rushing yards of his own while also punching in a score. Monangai outpaced his veteran backfield mate by four carries and recorded his fifth rush TD of the season on a four-yard run early in the fourth quarter. Monangai had topped out at 12 carries in terms of a single-game tally in the last three contests, so the boost in volume Friday was significant and surprising. Nevertheless, the division of labor in the backfield is likely to continue fluctuating game to game moving forward, and Friday's usage for both backs was largely the result of a favorable game script and clear matchup advantage.
Isiah Pacheco vs Texans
- The Texans rank #5 in our Run Defense Power Rankings. After missing the prior three games due to a knee injury, Pacheco was back in action but found himself firmly behind Kareem Hunt in the backfield pecking order, as the veteran turned 15 touches into 80 yards from scrimmage. Hunt's recent success appears to have solidified his spot at the top of the depth chart, and Pacheco -- who has yet to reach 60 rushing yards in any game this season -- will likely struggle to make an impact on limited volume Week 14 against the Texans.
Chris Rodriguez Jr. vs Vikings
- Rodriguez retained his role as the lead back for the Commanders, with his 11 total touches bettering Jeremy McNichols by three. Rodriguez didn't have a particularly efficient showing, though he did find the end zone from eight yards away shortly before halftime to account for his fourth touchdown in his last six matchups. He now has double-digit rushing attempts in three of his last four matchups heading into a Week 14 contest against the Vikings.
Jonathan Taylor vs Jaguars
- The Jaguars rank #2 in our Run Defense Power Rankings. He should be a NO BRAIN start this week and every week unless he is on a bye or injured. Taylor didn't have any of his typical explosive plays, but he had enough volume to top 100 yards from scrimmage. His receiving line was particularly notable, as he matched his season high with five targets while topping 30 receiving yards for the fourth time. Taylor has gotten a bit more inconsistent on the ground of late, topping 90 rushing yards in only half of his lats six games. However, he's still found the end zone nine times in that span while topping 100 yards from scrimmage four times.
Kimani Vidal vs Eagles
- Vidal had hit a bit of a cold stretch but a game against the Raiders proved to be just what the doctor ordered here. Vidal has been a huge surprise this year and while Omarion Hampton is expected back at some point, he should stay on dynasty rosters as a player who likely won't be completely phased out upon his return.
Rewards...
De'Von Achane vs Jets
- Achane finished with his second-highest rushing yardage total of the campaign with the help of three double-digit-yardage runs, including a 29-yard scoring scamper to cap off the opening possession of the contest. Achane's rushing volume has unsurprisingly ticked up over the course of the season as the Dolphins manage the absence of Tyreek Hill (IR, knee), and the explosive back now has three straight games with 21 or more carries heading into a Week 14 road matchup against the Jets.
James Cook III vs Bengals
- The Bengals rank #31 in our Run Defense Power Rankings. Cook set new season highs in carries and touches while gashing the Steelers' defense for 177 yards on the road. Buffalo's workhorse also finished as the team's leading receiver while accounting for 48 percent of the offense's net yards Sunday. The only blemish on yet another dominant rushing performance was a pair of fumbles, only one of which was scooped up by the defense. Cook had coughed up just one fumble over his previous 11 contests, which looks minuscule standing next to the nine touchdowns and 1,464 yards from scrimmage the fantasy stud has provided managers this season. A tasty matchup against the Bengals' defense awaits Cook and the Bills in Week 14.
Jahmyr Gibbs vs Cowboys
- The Cowboys rank #29 in our Run Defense Power Rankings. Analyzing various factors very carefully, we expect him to post nice fantasy stats this week. He should be a NO BRAIN start this week and every week unless he is on a bye or injured. After three straight games with more than 140 scrimmage yards, Gibbs' Thanksgiving output was something of a disappointment. He also watched his backfield partner, David Montgomery, punch in a three-yard score in the second quarter, after Gibbs had delivered Detroit's last four rushing scores. Gibbs did pass the 1,000-yard milestone on the ground for the second straight season, and through 12 games he's amassed 1,019 rushing yards and 397 receiving yards with 13 total TDs. He stands a good chance of producing another ceiling game in Week 14 against the Cowboys.
Bijan Robinson vs Seahawks
- Analyzing various factors very carefully, we expect him to post nice fantasy stats this week. Robinson did his part but the Falcons were upset, regardless. Tyler Allgeier sniped another touchdown from him but Robinson has done more than enough to post an elite-level RB1 season so far this year. Now just five yards away from 1,000 on the season, Robinson has a chance to break his career-high of 1,456 rushing yards set last season. His ADP and ranking are more than secure.
Risks...
A.J. Brown vs Chargers
- The Chargers rank #2 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. Brown was one of the few bright spots in an Eagles offense that otherwise looked stagnant again. He accounted for both of the team's touchdowns with scores from 33 and four yards away, marking his second consecutive game reaching the end zone. Brown chipped in four additional receptions of at least 15 yards to top the century mark for the second straight matchup. While it's still been a disappointing season overall from Brown, he appears to have overtaken DeVonta Smith as Jalen Hurts' favorite target for the time being.
Hollywood Brown vs Texans
- The Texans rank #4 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. Brown has four or fewer targets in seven straight games, after getting five or more in each of Kansas City's first five contests. He's been efficient with his limited chances, but his snap shares have landed between 33 and 44 percent each week since Rashee Rice returned from suspension. Brown figures to continue in his part-time role Week 14 against Houston.
Chimere Dike vs Browns
- The Browns rank #3 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. Dike's inconsistency this season has mirrored that of the Tennessee offense as a whole, as he has at least 40 receiving yards in three of his last six games and under 20 in the remaining three. While his receiving line was a disappointment, Dike has gained a more consistent role in the offense, commanding at least four targets in four of his last six games. He also remains the team's primary returner on special teams.
TERRY MCLAURIN vs Vikings
- The Vikings rank #5 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. McLaurin accounted for his normal snap count in a game for the first time since Week 2 and was on the field for the first time since Week 8. Even without Jayden Daniels (elbow) under center, McLaurin showed no signs of rust by leading the team in targets while logging three catches of more than 15 yards to record his highest yardage total in five contests this season. McLaurin also found the end zone in overtime, beating the Denver defense on a short slant over the middle from three yards away. While the Commanders came up short, McLaurin had a successful return and seemed to provide a boost to the entire unit.
DJ Moore vs Packers
- Just five days following a two-touchdown effort against the Steelers, Moore was virtually a non-factor in Friday's upset victory. Moore has topped out at two catches and 18 receiving yards in three of his last four games, making his 5-64-2 line versus Pittsburgh in Week 12 an outlier within that stretch. Caleb Williams' inconsistencies certainly don't help the veteran receiver's cause, but he figures to at least draw plenty of targets in a critical Week 14 road clash against the Packers on Sunday, Dec. 7.
Michael Pittman Jr. vs Jaguars
- Daniel Jones distributed targets very evenly between the Colts' top pass catchers, with five players earning at least four targets and none more than six. Pittman failed to even deliver on his limited opportunity, with his only catch coming late in the second quarter. While he has been a reliable target for Daniel Jones this season, this was Pittman's worst yardage total of the season and his third straight contest with fewer than 30 yards.
Deebo Samuel vs Vikings
- The Vikings rank #5 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. Analyzing various factors very carefully, we expect him to post nice fantasy stats this week. Samuel was overshadowed by strong showings from both Terry McLaurin and Zach Ertz, but he had a solid performance of his own. He did the majority of his damage in overtime, recording a 38-yard reception down the right sideline that came two yards shy of the end zone. Samuel has at least five targets in each of his last five games, and his usage down the field has started to rebound as he has three receptions of at least 20 yards combined across his last two games.
Xavier Worthy vs Texans
- The Texans rank #4 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. Most of the damage came on a 42-yard reception late in the fourth quarter that helped set up Kansas City's final score of the day. Worthy's 61 receiving yards were his highest total since Week 4, and he's gone six straight games without getting into the end zone, posting a 22-256-0 line on 37 targets over that stretch while chipping in another 33 rushing yards. The second-year speedster seems unlikely to break out Week 14 against the Texans.
Rewards...
DAVANTE ADAMS vs Cardinals
- He should be a NO BRAIN start this week and every week unless he is on a bye or injured. Adams may not put up the gaudy yardage numbers he used to but he now has a whopping 14 touchdown receptions on the year and has a chance to break his career high of 18 set back in 2020. In short, Adams has been a scoring machine in the red zone this year. With five games to go, he should come close to his seventh 1,000-yard season and his connection with Matthew Stafford has put him again on the WR1 line. His ultimate value could be tied to Stafford's future but his time in Los Angeles has been nothing short of spectacular.
Nico Collins vs Chiefs
- Collins finished as the Texans' leader in receiving yards and targets on the afternoon, logging his sixth double-digit target tally of the season while coming just short of what would have been his third 100-yard effort. He also added the first rushing touchdown of his career on a seven-yard run early in the fourth quarter that snapped a 13-13 tie. The veteran wideout has at least 75 receiving yards in four of his last five games. with three of those performances featuring 90-plus-yard efforts. Collins should be in line for another expansive role in a Week 14 road showdown against the Chiefs next Sunday night.
Emeka Egbuka vs Saints
- Egbuka finished as the team leader in receptions and targets on the afternoon, even as Chris Godwin took on an enhanced role compared to his Week 12 return and finished with a team-high 78 yards. Egbuka has posted between three and six receptions in the last six contests, but he's been above 58 receiving yards just once in that same span. Egbuka should have a chance to put together a more productive performance in a Week 14 home matchup against a beatable Saints defense.
Justin Jefferson vs Commanders
- The Commanders rank #31 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. The Vikings were forced to turn to undrafted rookie Max Brosmer with starter J.J. McCarthy (concussion) unavailable and backup Carson Wentz (shoulder) on injured reserve. The end result was even worse than expected with the third-stringer under center after Jefferson finished the shutout loss with a career-low four receiving yards. The horrid quarterback situation in Minnesota has damaged its star wideout's fantasy value in addition to its playoff hopes. The remaining hope for Jefferson's fantasy managers is that McCarthy can clear the league's concussion protocol by next Sunday's matchup against the Commanders, as he at least possesses the arm strength to take shots down the field towards his superstar receiver.
CeeDee Lamb vs Lions
- Analyzing various factors very carefully, we expect him to post nice fantasy stats this week. George Pickens led the Cowboys in targets once again, but Lamb paced the team's pass catchers in receptions and yards, capping his performance with a 15-yard TD from Dak Prescott in the first quarter. It's the fourth time in nine games this season Lamb has hit for triple-digit yards, and the issues he had hanging onto the ball against the Eagles last week were nowhere to be found. The 26-year-old wideout will take a 51-744-3 line on 81 targets into a Week 14 clash with the Lions.
Khalil Shakir vs Bengals
- The Bengals rank #30 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. Analyzing various factors very carefully, we expect him to post nice fantasy stats this week. Shakir struggled with drops, finishing with a season-low catch rate of 25 percent against Pittsburgh's secondary. The four targets still led all Buffalo wide receivers as the team continues searching for reliable auxiliary targets for Josh Allen to throw to. Shakir was fresh off of posting a 100-plus yard receiving game in Week 12's box score, and he remains the top option on the perimeter despite Sunday's putrid effort. Fantasy managers are hoping for a bounce-back effort from Shakir in a soft matchup against Cincinnati's defense next Sunday.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba vs Falcons
- Analyzing various factors very carefully, we expect him to post nice fantasy stats this week. He should be a NO BRAIN start this week and every week unless he is on a bye or injured. Smith-Njigba's fantasy managers suffered through an unfavorable game script that saw Seattle's defense and rushing attack take care of Minnesota in Week 13. QB Sam Darnold completed just 54 percent of his passes while failing to establish any rhythm while the game was still competitive in the first half. The end result was Smith-Njigba's worst fantasy score of 2025, which comes on the heels of his most-dominant showing against the Titans last Sunday (8-167-2). JSN is still the clear WR1 in fantasy this season even with this dud, carrying a sparkling 82-1,336-7 receiving line into next Sunday's tilt against the Falcons.
COURTLAND SUTTON vs Raiders
- Sutton put it all together for his best receiving line since Week 4 of the regular season when he finished with five receptions for 81 yards and a touchdown against the Bengals. The 29-year-old had registered just one touchdown grab over his previous seven appearances, so fantasy managers were delighted to see the wideout secure Bo Nix's lone touchdown pass in the primetime win. It was also a positive sign to see the veteran starter usurp Troy Franklin (2-21-0) in production after the inverse had held true in recent weeks. With a 50-711-5 receiving line across 12 starts, Sutton is providing enough value to stick in most starting lineups for a soft matchup against the Raiders next Sunday.
Brian Thomas Jr. vs Colts
- The Colts rank #28 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. Thomas returned from a three-game absence caused by an ankle injury, but his disappointing season continued. The Jaguars were able to rely relatively heavily on their run game while playing with at least a two-score lead for most of the game, but Thomas still finished tied for third on the team in targets. While he converted receptions of 17 and 11 yards, Thomas has now been held below 50 receiving yards in five of his nine games on the campaign.
Dontayvion Wicks vs Bears
- Wicks recorded a 22-yard touchdown catch in the second quarter and scored a one-yard touchdown in the third quarter. He also maintained his concentration despite losing his shoe to secure a game-sealing 16-yard catch in the fourth quarter, which converted on fourth down for the Packers and allowed them to run out the clock with a pair of kneel downs on the following two plays. That final reception also helped Wicks edge out Christian Watson (80 yards) for the team lead in receiving yards, though Watson led the Packers with 10 targets Thursday. Wicks hadn't scored a regular-season touchdown since Week 16 of the 2024 season, so it remains to be seen if he can build on this Thanksgiving Day breakout when the Packers host the Bears in Week 14.
Risks...
ZACH ERTZ vs Vikings
- The Vikings rank #5 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. Ertz has enjoyed increased production with Marcus Mariota under center, and he led the Commanders in both receptions and yards. In contrast to past weeks, he was used both deep down the field and in short areas, logging long receptions of 21 and 18 yards to help him top 100 receiving yards for the first time since Week 9 of the 2019 campaign. Ertz now has at least four receptions in five consecutive games. While he could be in for a downturn in opportunity moving forward due to the return of Terry McLaurin, Ertz was prioritized ahead of Deebo Samuel for targets in Sunday's loss.
TRAVIS KELCE vs Texans
- The Texans rank #4 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. He should be a NO BRAIN start this week and every week unless he is on a bye or injured. The future Hall of Famer hit pay dirt for the fifth time this season, and the 84th time in his career, on a two-yard toss from Patrick Mahomes in the first quarter. Kelce has caught at least four passes in five straight games, compiling a 28-344-3 line on 38 targets over that stretch, but he may have a hard time keeping that momentum going Week 14 against the Texans.
Chig Okonkwo vs Browns
- The Browns rank #3 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. Okonkwo has been out-targeted by rookie tight end Gunnar Helm for the last two weeks, but he's still maintained a key role in the Tennessee offense. Okonkwo led the Titans in receiving yards -- albeit with a modest total -- thanks to a pair of catches on Tennessee's opening drive that went for a combined 22 yards. He now has at least three receptions in three straight games since the team's bye, topping 40 yards on two occasions in that span.
Cade Otton vs Saints
- Otton was able to record multiple catches for the ninth consecutive game, but Sunday's yardage matched his lowest output over that stretch. The tight end has yet to find the end zone over 12 contests this season, something he'll look to change in Week 14 against the Saints.
Rewards...
Brock Bowers vs Broncos
- Analyzing various factors very carefully, we expect him to post nice fantasy stats this week. Bowers tied the game at a touchdown apiece with a six-yard touchdown catch shortly after the two-minute warning in the second quarter, then secured a spectacular one-handed catch for another six-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter. The 2024 first-round pick missed the entire month of October due to a knee injury but bounced back in November, catching 30 of 41 targets for 348 yards and five touchdowns across five games. Bowers should continue to work as the top option in the Raiders' passing game against the Broncos in Week 14.
EVAN ENGRAM vs Raiders
- Engram made his mark in the extra period when he ripped off a 41-yard gain that helped set up the game-winning score from teammate RJ Harvey. The 79 yards represented a new single-game high from the veteran tight end through 11 appearances with Denver in 2025. Had this game ended in regulation, Engram would have finished with a stat line closer to the 3.2 receptions and 26.0 yards he averaged heading into Sunday Night Football. Fantasy managers should not overreact to this standout performance and continue to treat Engram as a deep-league option for next Sunday's tilt against Las Vegas. For what it is worth, when he last played the Raiders, he racked up 12 receiving caught 0 TD passes.
Harold Fannin Jr. vs Titans
- Most of the damage came on a 34-yard TD pass from Shedeur Sanders early in the second quarter, the longest passing play of the day by either team on a very windy day in Cleveland. Fannin's five targets and 43 yards paced all Browns pass catchers, and in two-plus games since Sanders took the reins of the offense, the rookie tight end has a 9-109-1 line on 16 targets. Fannin will look for his fourth touchdown of the season in a Week 14 tilt against the Titans.
T.J. Hockenson vs Commanders
- The Commanders rank #31 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. Hockenson was the lone bright spot for Minnesota's passing offense after converting all of his targets into a team-high 59 yards. The 27-year-old tied his previous season best with six receptions, while the yardage did represent a new high-water mark in an otherwise disappointing campaign. With a 44-358-2 receiving line through 12 starts, Hockenson is providing the bare minimum at a shallow fantasy position for managers this season. That said, he offers little upside against the Commanders next Sunday.
Juwan Johnson vs Buccaneers
- The Buccaneers rank #29 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. Johnson logged over eight targets for the first time since Week 2 and led the team in this category ahead of wideouts Devaughn Vele (eight) and Chris Olave (seven). The tight end finished with a decent outing by his standard, as he's now averaging 4.5 receptions and 48.0 receiving yards per game across 12 outings. In four games with rookie QB Tyler Shough starting under center, Johnson has accumulated an 18-208-2 stat line. He should remain as one of the Saints' top three targets when they next play versus Tampa Bay in Week 14.
Dalton Kincaid vs Bengals
- The Bengals rank #30 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. He is currently listed as Questionable on the injury report, and may wind up being a dreaded GTD (Game Time Decision). After being deemed a 'DNP' on Wednesday, Kincaid, who last saw game action in Week 10, practiced in a limited fashion both Thursday and Friday before being listed as questionable to face Pittsburgh. In his continued absence, Dawson Knox and Jackson Hawes will handle the Bills' Week 13 tight-end duties, a context that resulted in Knox catching three of his four targets for 17 yards and Hawes hauling in both of his targets in the team's 23-19 loss to the Texans on Nov. 20.
Trey McBride vs Rams
- Analyzing various factors very carefully, we expect him to post nice fantasy stats this week. He should be a NO BRAIN start this week and every week unless he is on a bye or injured. Despite Marvin Harrison's return from a two-game absence due to an appendectomy, McBride remained highly involved as customary and finished the afternoon leading the Cardinals across the board in receptions, receiving yards and targets. The standout tight end also came down with his eighth touchdown grab of the season on a 15-yard grab with just under five minutes remaining in the game, which served as the final points of the day for either squad. McBride has at least eight receptions and 79 yards in four consecutive games and six of the last seven overall, keeping him as an elite option heading into a Week 14 home matchup against the Rams next Sunday.
Kyle Pitts Sr. vs Seahawks
- Pitts led the Falcons in targets, catches and receiving yards Sunday as they played without Drake London (knee) for a second consecutive game. If London remains sidelined in Week 14, a few more targets could flow Pitts' way against a Seahawks defense that has struggled to defend tight ends. The 6-foot-6 tight end has secured multiple receptions in every game this season but has only one touchdown.
Brenton Strange vs Colts
- The Colts rank #28 in our Pass Defense Power Rankings. Strange caught all three of his passes in the first half, with his most impactful reception coming on a 21-yard touchdown catch, splitting the Tennessee defense down the middle of the field. He chipped in a pair of 12-yard receptions to help set up a field goal as the first half concluded to cap off his day. Strange now has eight receptions on nine targets for 138 yards and a score in two games since returning from injured reserve.
Tyler Warren vs Jaguars
- Analyzing various factors very carefully, we expect him to post nice fantasy stats this week. He should be a NO BRAIN start this week and every week unless he is on a bye or injured. Warren, who was dealing with an illness that led to him being added to the injury report Saturday, matched his season low in targets and was also limited to his lowest yardage total of the campaign. His longest catch of the day came on a 12-yard touchdown grab late in the third quarter, his fifth score of the campaign and first since Week 7. After a hot start to the season, Warren has been held to 50 or fewer receiving yards in three of his last four games.
Risks...
DANIEL CARLSON vs Broncos
- Carlson went without a field-goal try for the second time this season and first time since Week 7. The kicker has now been limited to one or zero field-goal attempts in four of the last six contests overall. Carlson will look to get back on track in a tough matchup against Denver in Week 14.
Cam Little vs Colts
- Analyzing various factors very carefully, we do not expect him to post quality fantasy stats this week. Little's field goal was from 45 yards. On the season, Little has made 19 of 23 field-goal attempts and 29 of 30 point-after tries through 12 contests. Since the start of November, Little has made all nine of his field goals and 15 of 15 PATs across five contests.
BRANDON MCMANUS vs Bears
- Despite only attempting one field goal, McManus converted the 45-yarder and was automatic on the point-after for the Packers' four touchdown drives. McManus moves to 15-for-20 on field-goal attempts and 22-for-23 on extra-point tries over nine regular-season games.
CAIRO SANTOS vs Packers
- Santos wasn't asked to do much on a chilly November day against the Eagles, as his only field-goal try came from just 30 yards out. He remains perfect for the season on field goals from within 40 yards and on point-after attempts. The Bears will take on one of the league's best defenses in Green Bay in Week 14, likely putting a cap on his fantasy upside.
Rewards...
BRANDON AUBREY vs Lions
- Aubrey connected on a 49-yard field goal early in the second quarter, but his big leg wasn't challenged during Thursday's win after adding two more field goals from 36 and 26 yards. It was his sixth game with two or more made field goals but his first since Week 7 against the Commanders. Aubrey's fantasy value will remain elevated for as long as the Cowboys' offense keeps humming, and the third-year kicker is now 22-for-24 on field-goal attempts and 37-for-38 on extra-point tries through 12 regular-season games.
Cameron Dicker vs Eagles
- He should be a NO BRAIN start this week and every week unless he is on a bye or injured. Dicker was unable to make multiple field goals for the first time since Week 7, but he did make the most of his only attempt, converting a 56-yarder in the fourth quarter. The kicker has now gone 26-for-28 on field-goal tries, including 5-for-6 from 50-plus yards, while also making all 27 of his extra-point attempts over 12 games this year.
Tyler Loop vs Steelers
- The Ravens turned the ball over five times against Cincinnati, which contributed to fewer attempts for Loop. The rookie kicker is 22-for-24 on field-goal attempts and 29-for-30 on PATs through 12 games.
Evan McPherson vs Bills
- McPherson accounted for Cincinnati's first 12 points, making kicks from 31, 42, 24 and 33 yards out to give the Bengals a 12-7 lead at halftime. He then kicked a pair of PATs before making kicks from 52 and 41 yards in the fourth quarter. Through 12 games this season, McPherson is 23-for-26 on field goals a perfect 27-of-27 on extra points.
Risks...
Cincinnati Bengals vs Bills
- Fantasy managers should be hesitant to start the Bengals defense in Week 14 after last week's performance against the Steelers. Cincinnati's defense ranks last in passing yards and total yards allowed. Facing Josh Allen and the Bills' offense - which just ran for 249 yards against Pittsburgh and ranks second in total offense - is a nightmare scenario.
Arizona Cardinals vs Rams
- Arizona's offense has been giving up significant fantasy points to opposing defenses lately, averaging over 10 fantasy points per game to opponents over the last month. The Rams defense has been playing extremely well recently with high turnover rates. Making matters worse, the Cardinals may be without Marvin Harrison Jr. due to a heel injury, which would make their offense even more one-dimensional and easier to defend.
Dallas Cowboys vs Lions
- While Dallas's defense has looked better in their last two games, they're now facing one of the NFL's most potent offenses. Detroit excels at running the ball and controlling the clock. The Cowboys' run defense has improved but still isn't strong enough to consistently stop Detroit's ground game. The Lions will likely try to establish the run early and dominate time of possession, limiting Dallas's defensive opportunities for fantasy points.
Detroit Lions vs Cowboys
- Detroit's pass rush has been ineffective lately, recording just four sacks over their past four games. The Cowboys are riding major momentum after beating both Super Bowl teams in consecutive weeks. Dak Prescott and the offense are clicking at the right time, making this a dangerous matchup for a Lions defense that hasn't been generating much pressure. Most rankings have Detroit outside the top 15 defenses this week.
Rewards...
Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Saints
- The Buccaneers have the easiest remaining defensive schedule and it starts with an excellent Week 14 matchup. New Orleans ranks third-worst in scoring at just 15.2 points per game and is third in turnovers with 19. When these teams met in Week 8, the Saints committed four turnovers and allowed five sacks in a 23-3 Tampa Bay win. Rookie QB Tyler Shough struggled in that game with two sacks and an interception. The Saints offensive line has allowed the 11th-most sacks (32) this season, including nine in their last two games. Making matters even better, All-Pro running back Alvin Kamara is likely to miss the game with injury, further weakening an already struggling Saints offense that ranks fifth-worst in DVOA. Tampa ranks 7th in defensive DVOA and has won five straight games in this rivalry.
Philadelphia Eagles vs Chargers
- Despite their recent struggles, the Eagles defense presents an intriguing streaming option. The Chargers are severely banged up on the offensive line, with their top two tackles (Rashawn Slater and Joe Alt) both on injured reserve. QB Justin Herbert just had surgery on his non-throwing hand and his effectiveness is uncertain - he may struggle with snaps and ball handling. The Eagles' pass rush, led by the talented defensive line, should feast on a compromised offensive line. While Philadelphia's run defense has been concerning lately, Los Angeles will likely be limited if Herbert can't operate at full capacity. The Eagles need to bounce back after two straight losses, and facing a Chargers team dealing with significant injuries on offense could be the perfect opportunity.
Los Angeles Rams vs Cardinals
- The Rams defense ranks 2nd in the NFL in points allowed per game at just 17.5 and boasts elite defensive metrics. Los Angeles ranks 2nd in EPA per play allowed and 5th in defensive DVOA. They're facing a Cardinals team that's 3-9 and has lost four straight games, with their last two losses coming by just three points each. Arizona is starting backup QB Jacoby Brissett and backup RB Zonovan Knight, and they may be without star rookie WR Marvin Harrison Jr. due to injury. The Rams have dominated this matchup historically, going 14-3 against Arizona under Sean McVay. Los Angeles ranks 10th in total sacks with 33 and should be able to pressure Brissett consistently. The Cardinals have struggled with protection all season, and the Rams are highly motivated after an upset loss to Carolina last week.
Seattle Seahawks vs Falcons
- The Seahawks are the hottest defense in fantasy football right now and rank as the consensus #1 defense for Week 14. Seattle leads the NFL in pressure rate, opponents' scoring rate, and EPA per play allowed over the last two months while averaging a league-leading 12.3 fantasy points per game. They've recorded a defensive touchdown in back-to-back weeks and have forced turnovers in each of their last five games. The Seahawks are getting safety Julian Love back from injury this week, adding another weapon to an already dominant unit. They're facing an Atlanta team that just lost to the lowly Jets at home and has QB Sam Darnold throwing six interceptions in his last four games. Seattle's defense has been exceptional against the pass and should be able to contain the Falcons' struggling offense. The Seahawks have won three straight games and are peaking at the right time.
