Recap of Week 1

Let's first take a look at my lineup from Week 1 -- and review how I did.

Daily Fantasy Leagues Week 2

Notes: Rather mediocre last week. Based on the various tournaments and 50/50 plays in which I submitted this lineup, I more or less broke even. The obvious downer was the surprising Saints-at-Giants snoozer, which hurt my Eli-to-Odell combination. Otherwise, my biggest gaffe was TJ Yeldon. I really thought he would have some success against the Chargers, especially given his full share of the workload. Oh well.

Week 2 Lineup

Here is what I put together for Week 2.

Daily Fantasy Leagues Week 3

Notes: As usual, I used our Bets Bets as an aid in identifying value. For example, with the extra rest, I have Matt Forte ranked as the #2 fantasy RB this week, but he was priced as the #8 RB. I LOVE Philip Rivers against the Colts this week, yet he was priced as a borderline QB1/QB2 at just $8000.

As we have seen, the safest high-dollar players are typically WRs. So I went ahead and paid up for three receivers that I have ranked in my top 10 this week. Brown is expensive, of course. However, he has such a high ceiling and a high floor that I like having him in my lineup almost every week. He is coming off a floor game for him, so I expect him to rebound nicely this week. I have Robinson as my #4 WR this week, but he is priced as the #7 on Fan Duel, so I like that value. I also like Landry again this week at home against Cleveland -- and I believe that $7000 is a great price for him.

I am not sure whether Fan Duel made a mistake with Dennis Pitta or if they simply have lower expectations for him this week than I do, but $5000 almost seems like armed robbery for a guy who is right now a top 10 fantasy performer. I know they struggled last week against the Patriots, but I like for the Dolphins' Defense to be a sneaky good play this week in their home opener.

A sneak peak: Rivers and Gore will appear as Starters in our Sit or Start column later today. I am usually not a fan of Gore in DFS play because of his low ceiling, but I like him against the Chargers this week and feel that the $5700 price tag justifies his inclusion.

Wish me luck!
