Topic: Dynasty Trade Help

I get Ryan Williams and Kendall Wright, he gets Mike Wallace and 2013 2nd round pick.

I have zero depth at RB right now, and adding Ryan Williams will help that.  I'm trying to work a deal for Beanie Wells, we'll see how that goes.  Wright is hopefully going to be the WR2 in an offensive that looks ready to explode.  This thing with Mike Wallace doesn't appear to be getting any better, and the emergence of Antonio Brown and even Emanual Sanders may hurt his numbers.  Although with Redman thier current starting RB, we could see the Steelers doing a lot more passing this year.  Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Dynasty Trade Help

think you should be able to get much more for Wallace alone.  Much less giving up a second round pick.

Re: Dynasty Trade Help

I agree with youngrice that this trade is lop-sided. It also sounds like you are trying to talk yourself into this bad trade. Say what you will about Wallace, but he remains a borderline fantasy WR1. Meanwhile, neither player you would be acquiring is a sure thing, and you certainly should not be giving up a pick as high as a 2nd to sweeten the pot.  If you are set on trading Wallace, you should be able to command a RB2 for him straight up. Someone like SJax, Michael Turner, Doug Martin, or even Bradshaw is who you should be realistically shooting for.  You should be able to trade one of your lesser receivers (like Washington) for the package on the table. Regardless, I do not like the trade you have been offered.

Re: Dynasty Trade Help

Its a 14 team league, so I guess I'm selling myself short in hopes of landing a gem in a young RB and WR...I didn't do the deal though.

Good "no" deal.  I agree with the others that you would be giving up too much in hopes of one of the young guys panning out!

Re: Dynasty Trade Help

I messaged a guy in the league this offer: Harvin/Starks/Hillman for Wallace...just waiting to see what his response is.
