Fantasy Olympics

...Just think about it for a while,

I only found 1 site that has it and it looks like you pretty much do it all your self but it might be interesting.

How about Fantasy Poker or better yet, Fantasy Bass Fishing?

Oh wait, they have those already. I acutally did pretty good in Fantasy Poker once... HAHA

But you put Fantasy in front of any competitive sport and it makes that sport more interesting. I get blasted (even on this site) because I play Fantasy College Football, but in the end it's all fun and it does make the even lesser sports more enjoyable.

I could see Fantasy Olympics being fun and would make the lesser olympic events worth looking at.

I'm interested in trying a league, but it seems so vast that there would be alot of leg work and rule making involved....and I'm lazy

I'm studying the Ghana Women's Curling Team as we speak. Preparation is the key in Fantasy Olympics

Wouldn't it be better as a drinking game instead of a fantasy game?

BTW, not only is Whistler facing a foreclosure auction, but El Nino is also stealing all of its snow. Should be a fantastic winter olympics! Blame Canada!

Can't it be both?

My fantasy Olymipcs team took a hit this weekend when I lost my Lugers.

Sorry, this is a little off topic, but I'm working with the U.S. Olympic Committee on their "Don't Be An Asterisk" campaign. They are basically just trying to keep steroids out of sports, at all levels. I'm assuming most people here are in support of that?

I support banning the Olympics in general. At least the ridiculous media coverage they require.

1. Curling is not a sport. It should be called the Janitor Olympics.

2. NBC lost 100 million dollars covering the Olympics. Where does the $400 million they paid go?

3. The only reason I watched the Olympics was for snowboarding and the annual X-Games does a far better job with it.

4. I support steroids in Olympics. Why not have at least one international venue where we can see what the affects of the open use of steroids have on competition and the human body. What's the worst that could happen? 'Roid rage among the figure skaters?

lol, I here what you are saying. But I have to say, I am in my 4th year of curling and it is an awesome game. It is one of those games that if you never get to play or understand what is actually going on, you probably will think it to not be interesting (like those who do not play or understand golf and deem it boring and not a sport).

Wait....you just compared curling to golf....both of which are sports? Geez...next we'll be talking about synchronized swimming.

Next he will be defending beer pong and Twister as legit sports.

Actually Twister is probably the closest thing to a sport out of the four. At least it requires some physical ability.

I've never played a round of golf but I could see how it could be fun. But jesus, it's really not worthy of it's own network. I'd much rather see a Twister channel.

Could put it on Spike or VS.....hot half naked chicks playing Twister for 100,000 bucks.....as the well like philospher Ronald McDonald used to say..."Hey, it could happen".

Let's pitch it to the Network!

If they can make $500 million a year of of something as simple as American Idol, we should be able to sell Twister as a game show!
