BRIAN WESTBROOK

You fall down on the one instead of get the TD which would put your team up by TWO SCORES?!
OMFG I lost by 4 because of your sorry ass. You owe me 150 bucks.

I also have him on one team and was thinking if he can only break one in for a score here at the end of the game...

then there he goes, I start the premature cheer thinking I can now win my conference championship, only to watch him stop, look back and fall at the one. It was all like slow motion, I don't think I was actually believing what was happening. But it was true, no 6 points for me, no championship, no $170 and chance to play for league title and another $435. I almost threw up!!!

Now I have that long wait until next year...maybe I will start a fantasy arena football league!

I don't have him nor was I playing against him so watching the play was unbiased. I thought it was a great play call. It took the Cowboys chances of winning from slim to none. I thought it was a great call and I am also surprised we don't see that more often (but how often does a situation like that come up). But if I had Westbrook on my team I’d be pissed too.

I think it may just be karma.

Didn't the opposite occur against the redskins a few weeks ago?

Either way I have him and won this week by 1.5pts or I would be pissed.

As far as a great football call to fall down at the 1 and put out the lights in BIG D, what a stellar move. I don't have Westbrook in my money leauge either, but if I had, I woud have been going nuts. I had the Dallas D though and I was glad to see it from that perspective.

There was a recent ESPN video (I can't seem to locate it now) where he apologized to all FF owners who had him. However, when pressed if he would do that again, he said basically that his answer depends on if you are a FF owner or the owner of the Eagles...

I wouldn't hate him so much if he wasn't faced with the EXACT same situation that year and went ahead and scored as Steal said.

See Exhibit A:

Eagles were up by one and did he fall down at the one?! NOOOOOOO!

I rest my case, nothing further your honor.
Shove that in your pipe and smoke it Westy. (While I shove my foot up your ass)

Not the same situation.

In your example, the clock would have stopped at the 2 minute warning. As well, it was 1st and goal.

Had it been less than two minutes, AND he would have had a 1st down by stopping at the 1, I could understand it better. In this case though, no argument can be made for it.
