| Wondering which teams had the best overall draft? While it is impossible to tell at this early stage, the Commish thought it would be interesting to use the method that Jimmy Johnson perfected to ascribe a specific point value to each position in the draft in hopes of translating draft selections to point values. What we have done here is assigned a "Ranked Value" associated with where we have the players ranked. The list below represents each team's cumulative total for value points. This is obviously skewed by the teams that were drafting higher in each round and teams that had the most picks. For example, the Miami Dolphins had the greatest opportunity to draft for heavy value. So it shouldn't be too surprising that they had one of the betters drafts, using this formula. However, it was actually the Kansas City Chiefs who actually acquired the greatest cumulative value with the totality of their individual selections.
